We are looking for healthy volunteers to participate in a research study. This study is part of research that will help us understand relationships between differences in how people’s brains process information, and to what degree they hold religious beliefs.
To be eligible for this study, you must:
- be 16-35 years old
- be a native English speaker, and not have learned other languages before age 5
- never have had a psychiatric or neurological disorder
- never have had a drug or alcohol problem
You would be asked to read and remember words presented on a computer screen, and to answer questions about them by pressing a button. We will record your brainwaves during these tasks.
You will also be asked to complete some questionnaires about medical and psychiatric symptoms, and some questionnaires to assess vocabulary, personality, and beliefs.
You will receive $14/hour for participation. This study will last approximately 3 hours.
