High Cholesterol Research

February 7, 2019

The medical team at Family Medical Center is researching new, cutting edge
treatments for people with High Cholesterol.

Cholesterol is a waxy substance that is found in the fats of your blood. The risk of heart disease and stroke are greater when cholesterol levels are high as blood flow is limited.
There are no symptoms of high cholesterol so it is important to get tested.

If you have high cholesterol, call the team here at FMC for help.
We can talk with you privately about what you’re going though and also about the research we’re doing to find new treatments. There is absolutely no cost for the consultation or to take part in any research.
