Individuals with Bipolar Disorder Wanted for Paid Study

Researchers are conducting a study investigating how chronic cannabis use affects thinking and behavior. We are seeking adults between the ages of 18-50 years who either use cannabis at least 4 times a week or don’t use cannabis at all, who have a history of Bipolar Disorder or no psychiatric conditions. Study participants must not currently be using illegal drugs and have no serious medical or neurological conditions, including seizures and significant head trauma.

There will be one visit lasting about 6 hours. The study sessions take place at Medical Center in Hillcrest. Participants are reimbursed at the rate of $20 per hour.

The study procedures include:
• Interviews and questionnaires
• Saliva, blood, and urine tests
• Computer and paper and pencil tests
• Wear a device that measures the movements of your body
