Looking for Healthy Volunteers for a Mood Study

March 11, 2020

Are you between the age of 18 and 60 and able to receive a flu shot?

Help us learn more about why some people get side effects from the flu shot! We are conducting research exploring the relationship between the immune system and depression.

Participants should be aged between 18 and 60 years old, able to receive a flu shot for the current year, and should NOT have experienced a psychiatric disorder in their lifetime.

The study involves four sessions; the first session will be 2-3 hours and includes an interview, a blood draw, and a flu shot and the second, third, and fourth session will last 1 hour each and will include a blood draw to measure your vaccine response. Compensation up to $125 for completion of study.

For more information send us an email with your age and gender to Behavioral.Immunology.Lab@dellmed.utexas.edu or call us at 512-495-5595
