Participants Wanted for High Blood Pressure Study

April 17, 2019

Are you between 45-65 years old? Do you have high blood pressure?

Scientists at Massachusetts General Hospital are recruiting men and women
to participate in a research study to examine the effects of non-invasive Transcutaneous Vagus Nerve Stimulation on the regulation of heart rate and blood pressure of patients with high blood pressure. The information learned from this study may help us in future research on the treatment of hypertension.

The study includes 6 visits which are comprised of one evaluation and screening period, 5 stimulation sessions, and questionnaires. Visits occur at the MGH Charlestown Navy Yard campus in Charlestown, MA.

Eligible participants will receive up to $300 for completing the study.
