July 30, 2018

Researchers at St. Michael’s Hospital are looking for volunteers to participate in a study about the effects of swapping sugar sweetened beverages with diet beverages or water on blood sugar, insulin levels, and gut bacteria.

We are looking for 18- to 75-year-old volunteers who are healthy, overweight, and drink at least one full-sugar soda pop a day.

For the purpose of this study, women who are not pregnant and adult men are considered healthy participants. They must not smoke, be free of any major disease or illnesses, do not regularly take any medications, and own a cell phone.

Compensation will be provided for participating.
