Have you been diagnosed with a psychotic disorder such as Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Schizophreniform Disorder, Psychosis NOS, Major Depressive Disorder with Psychotic Features, or Bipolar Disorder with Psychotic Features?
Are you interested in participating in a new digital health intervention completely remotely that was designed for people with psychosis?
WHAT THE STUDY IS ABOUT: The research team in the Vinogradov Lab at the University of Minnesota will be using Brain HQ, a computer-based cognitive training program and computer games, along with a mobile application called PRIME which may help people with psychosis achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. All study activities will occur remotely via home computers and personal smartphone devices.
WHAT IS BRAIN HQ: Brain HQ is a set of computer games, and computer-based exercises focused on attention, memory, brain speed, and people skills.
WHAT IS PRIME:
PRIME is a personalized mobile experience that may help you make and achieve goals. PRIME provides a safe community to connect with others who may have similar interests and struggles, and includes a motivational coach who will provide support via messaging.
IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE:
You will complete Brain HQ and participate in PRIME over a period of 16 weeks. Before and after you complete Brain HQ and PRIME, you will be asked to complete some measures and questions including an online cognitive assessment, clinical interviews, and an online survey. Six months after the completion of Brain HQ and PRIME, you will be asked to complete the same measures and questions.
-All study visits may be done COMPLETELY REMOTELY online, and via Skype or FaceTime.
-We do ask that you have a personal smartphone and access to a computer.
